Toronto Railway Museum
Opened in 2010, the Toronto Railway Museum is part of the numerous attractions residing in Roundhouse Park. The Museum promotes education for children and adults on the history of Canada’s railways. Among its attractions are a train operating simulator, a mini train ride around the roundhouse, and audio tours of the museum. In addition to its public educational offerings, the Railway Museum also houses a refurbishing studio where restoration experts return locomotives to their original state. With so much to do in Roundhouse Park, families can take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience the cultural history of the city alongside its new modern culture. With PATH access from Union station, both locals and tourists can easily access all that the District has to offer.
